Of course, in my male way, I only noticed the cakes….
But there were some really wonderful flower arrangements as well at St Mary’s Avington for the weekend – just totally beautiful. What was particularly marvellous about them was the way in which the arrangements tied in with the stained glass of the windows of this stunning church. The arrangements are still in place and will remain until next Sunday when the Avington Harvest Matins service is held at 11am on Sunday 5th October.
