Amanda, Oliver, Alex, Lucy, Theo and Judith all attended the HTB Leadership Conference at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday and Tuesday.   It was quite simply an astonishing two days.The theme of the conference was ‘leading with love’. There were so many lessons in leadership that it will take some time to process them all.

Speakers were led by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel of Holy Trinity Brompton and included Cardinal Luis Tagle who is Archbishop of Manila and President of Caritas International (the charity of the Catholic bishops conferences in each of the countries in the world and thus the world’s largest charity), Priscilla Shirer and John Gray both Pentecostal preachers from Texas, John Vanier the Founder of L’Arche community, Simon Sinek Author about leadership, and Miranda Hart!  Two UK government speakers were unable to attend due to the purdah rules prior to the General Election.

The worship music was astonishing and it was great to meet up with Bishop David and lots of others in the corridors.  We shared our box with some American friends.
