UTX social Sunday 11th February 2018

Its half term and as the mountains of Europe ring to the sound of Itchen Valley teenagers pelting down the slopes, we had a slightly quieter UTX this Sunday than in January.  However we had fun.  Kelly and Mike had organised some fantastic games including how to do civil engineering with marshmallows and spaghetti – yes its very difficult…but the winning entry was….

and then we had our ‘God slot’ – 20 minutes discussion on one of the topics chosen by one of the teenagers themselves to be what they would ask God if they had a chance to ask him one question – this time: ‘What is love?’….a totally brilliant and very difficult question…which has inspired the article which I am writing for my piece ‘From the Rectory’ in Itchen Valley News for March…some great discussions and then a series of sessions of hunt the keys – a great game.  Thank you Mike and Kelly for another great evening.
