Sunday 18 January

10am Parish Communion – St Mary’s, Easton

Valley Worship

At Valley Worship last Sunday (held at St Swithun’s in Martyr Worthy), as part of the long-running ‘Every Day Lives’ series, Malcolm Hogg was interviewed by James Greig (who led the service very capably).   Malcolm’s honest and interesting testimony can be heard here.

Drawing on 1 Peter, Chapter 2 and its verses 11 to 18, Nicky Barber spoke about how we are to live as Christians in a fallen world full of troubles and how we are to deal with human authorities with power over us.   The reading and the text of her talk can be accessed via this link.   The recording of her talk can be accessed here.

Tim Clapp led the worship and spoke about the powerful impact a brief video had had on him (it captures an excerpt from a sermon by Alastair Begg and is entitled ‘The Man on the Middle Cross’).  It is just under four minutes long and well worth watching.  Here is a link to it on YouTube
