The animals came into the ark two by two…do bring a friend so that you also can come into the Ark two by two!
We meet during the morning service in various age groups and the children sing songs, pray creatively together, play games, hear a Bible story, do activities in their group and lots more!
How Does This All Work?
We organise our Sunday morning groups for children based upon Scripture Union materials.
Children will meet from 9.45am at the various venues and they will:
sing songs pray creatively together play games hear a Bible story do activities in their group and lots more…
And then they will join the church service for communion.
This is children learning the faith, worshipping together and enjoying Church in a meaningful and relevant way…
…and parents being able to worship and learn in church.
Where Will They Meet (the following is generally correct but check the ‘Services’ page on this website for more information)
1st Sunday of the month
We always have an All Age Family Service where adults and children worship and learn together. This rotates around the four valley churches. See the page ‘Services’ on this website for where the All Age Service will be this month.
2nd Sunday of the month
At the Itchen Abbas & Avington Village Hall
3rd Sunday of the month
At Dymoke House, opposite St Mary’s, Easton while adults very welcome at Valley Worship.
4th Sunday of the month
Normally at Martyr Worthy Village Hall, but for this term please see plan overleaf
What to Do!
Come along and find out what is like
You can stay with your child but we encourage parents to be part of the service in the church
We will come and get you if your child needs you
We will bring the children back to church so that you can go up for Communion as a family.
This is an opportunity for you to see what your children are getting up to in the Ark, for you to meet other parents and members of the church.
This group for secondary school pupils will meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month in the evening and who also meet once a month during the Ark.
