On Tuesday evening we will be thinking about the Bible and how we can get to know it better. We will be talking about ways we can read the Bible more often and more fruitfully. We want this session to be practical so there will be time to explore some resources that can help us read the Bible. A list of these will appear on the website after the talk. Meanwhile, you may notice that the new look Church Matters does not include the lectionary readings for the week. If you wish to use these to help you read the Bible, you can purchase a copy of the Lectionary for Advent 2015 to the eve of Advent 2016 from Church House Publishing (ISBN 978-0-7151-2280-8) or find them on the Church of England website (www.churchofengland.org/prayer-worship/worship/texts/lectionaries.aspx).
