Noah’s Ark at the Sunshine School

I thought that you might like to see how the craft materials which UTX created were used during our week long Bible Club at the Sunshine School in Jerusalem.

We had a good week thinking about how Noah did as God asked him and built an Ark; how God created lot of different animals; how the rain came but God kept his promise and protected all who were in the Ark and how the rainbow reminds God and us that he will never flood the earth again.

Here is the display which we built up over the week as we learnt about God and Noah.

The oldest children (Miss Kim’s class who are aged 4-6) created mobiles

Whilst Miss Abeer’s class (aged 3-4) created hangings with their crafts

streamers

All the children (aged 2-6) created animal masks from paper plates; here are a few of them

On the final day we went to the zoo to look at the animals and to handle some of them too; whilst we were at the zoo, we went to see The Ark which they have there.

It makes an impressive loo block!

Here are all the children and staff in their Noah’s Ark tee shirts:

The school – and I  – would like to say a big thank you to all who helped with preparations for the Bible Club and for those who prayed for us. They are also extremely grateful for the Christmas donation from the Itchen Valley which I was able to take to them; it will make a real difference to the school which makes an enormous difference to the lives of children who live in a difficult part of the world. Thank you!
