Christ is risen!
He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

Today is Thursday 13th May, 40 days after Easter and Ascension Day, when we celebrate the ascent of Jesus to Heaven at the completion of his ministry on earth.

Eight of us arose before dawn to go to St Mary’s Avington for a short service of prayer and praise. It was a gloriously uplifting experience and as the spirit moved us to pray we all felt that there is hope in all the dark days we are seeing.

And of course an especial thanks to Dan Day-Robinson and Helen Wayne who provided bacon butties and tea for us as we chatted afterwards.

Christ has ascended!
Our High King – He shall reign for ever.
In love of the King of Life we shall celebrate.
Alleluia!
