Last Sunday we had a special time celebrating Epiphany together in three very different services.

Each was special in its own way: whether breaking bread together in Avington, or being an ‘all-age’ family together under the two shining stars hanging from the balcony in Itchen Abbas, or enjoying some lovely Epiphany hymns at Martyr Worthy (with great singing coming forth from the 35 people gathered there on a January evening!).

It was great to have Alex and Lucy Pease joining us for Evensong—seated safely at the back of the church—and to be able to wish everyone, even if slightly belatedly, a Happy New Year.

May we go into the coming months confident in the good news of Christ, the Light of the World!
