Come join us at the Lent tide, Ploughman’s Lunch this Friday, between 12noon and 2pm, hosted by the Mezgers, at The Farmyard, Easton, SO211EQ. Pop in for a mug of soup, some bread and cheese and a chat with others in the Valley. All are welcome, young and old, those that attend church regularly and those who don’t. Spread the word.

At this occasion, we are raising funds for the Elsie Lark Fund. This charity was established by Helena Martin and Phil Binney, residents of Easton, in memory of their daughter, who had a tragically short life and who was treated and nursed at Southampton General Hospital. All the funds we raise will go directly to the hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care and High Dependency units via the Southampton Hospital Charity. Helena will tell us more at the lunch on Friday.
