This coming Sunday, in addition to our 1662 Service of Holy Communion at St Swithun’s, Martyr Worthy, we have two Harvest Services:
- A Harvest Family Service in St Mary’s, Easton at 10.00am
- And a special ‘Songs of Praise’ Service at St Mary’s, Avington at 6.00pm
We would be very grateful to accept donated produce which will be passed on to the Winchester Basics Bank. They are in need of most grocery items, in particular the following:Tinned vegetables or fruit, squash and fruit juice, jam, marmalade, tinned puddings, UHT milk (dairy and non-dairy), noodles, coffee, dog food.
If you prefer to make a monetary donation, this can be done online following this link. All financial donations will be divided between these charities:
Trinity Winchester,
Winchester Churches Night Shelter
and Winchester Basics Bank.
This is a special time of year in the Valley and we are delighted that Michael Grey will be being interviewed at the Easton morning service, to help us all as we listen learn more from Jesus’ Parable of the Sower.
Please do join us, if you can.
Revd Peter
