It was great that so many of us were able to come together on Sunday: in addition to the thirty of us at the morning Parish Communion, there were 60 adults and children at the afternoon Café Church and then 80 at the Choral Evensong.

An enormous “Thank You” to the Hunt family and all those who did so much to make our second Café Church such a warm and friendly occasion.  We look forward to this now regular event through the new year on the first Sunday of each month.

And similarly, a big “Thank You” to Tim Tyler for gathering such a strong choir and taking them through several rehearsals in order to provide such a strong musical foundation for our worship. It was so good to come together for this ecumenical event, to enjoy fellowship after the service, but especially to hear Bishop Peter Doyle’s calm and clear words on how to celebrate Christ as our King: “let us walk in the Truth of Christ, the Love of Christ and the Peace of Christ”.
