As advertised in last month’s Itchen Valley News, we are hoping that a good number of us can come together this coming Sunday and enjoy the first afternoon of British Summer Time by walking around the Valley.

We are suggesting that residents of each village should gather at their local church at 4.00pm and then to set off either clockwise (if starting from Easton and Martyr Worthy) or anti-clockwise (if starting from Avington and Itchen Abbas). This means the different groups should bump into each others somewhere in the middle

In each church there will be some cold drinks and refreshments. And there will be toilets available in St John’s, Itchen Abbas and through the rear entrance to the Village Hall in Marty Worthy.

Everyone is welcome. Let’s enjoy each other’s company and seeing the arrival of spring in our lovely valley.
