The last two weekends have been quite special. This last Sunday, it was lovely to have Lavinia Owen leading our All Age Worship for the first time, and to be joined by people outside the parish to witness Georgie Walker being commissioned as a Winchester Street Pastor.

We had had a powerful sermon from Sarah Noble about the disciples’ eyes being ‘opened’ to see Jesus on the Emmaus Road and their hearts ‘burning within them’. All in all, it was indeed a heart-warming experience.

And the weekend before, we were celebrating the Coronation in lots of colourful ways. A Big Thank you to all those who helped lay on events or who decorated our churches so beautifully. Here are some photos to enjoy.

And a special thanks to Judy Bishop for all she did to encourage a new generation of bell-ringers to develop their skills and to ‘ring for the King’. We’ll probably be hearing from them for a long time to come!
