St Swithun’s Church has been very busy this week.  The funeral of long standing Martyr Worthy resident, Jennifer Faber took place on Wednesday and was attended by family and friends who were able to celebrate the life of this wonderful lady.

On Saturday, the church was again, not only packed with family and friends of Georgie and Hector as they were married but also with the most beautiful floral arrangements.

Finally, on Sunday, during our regular Parish Communion, Grace Christie was baptised surrounded by her family and friends and welcomed by her Church family.

We are so lucky to have our wonderful churches being so well used and also for all of the amazing volunteers who work so hard to prepare for these services.  St Swithun’s Patronal Evensong on Sunday 2nd July is an opportunity to thank those involved in all of this work at Martyr Worthy.  Everyone is invited to this service, our guest preacher will be Revd Sarah Tillett.  The service will be followed by drinks outside the south door of the church.
