Cafe Church yesterday was a great success with approximately 30 adults and 25 children joining us!  James Greig spoke beautifully about the importance of rest and our need to honour the Sabbath, which led to lots of good conversations in small groups which was a new feature we have introduced. 

Tim Clapp led us powerfully in live worship (such a treat to have him back in this capacity) and all the other key elements fell into place very well (particularly Verity Greig leading the children creatively and servant hearted Georgie Walker working hard in the kitchen). 

Thanks also go to all of our wonderful cake makers and hot dog cookers and in particular thank you to Sarah Hunt who faithfully makes plates of wonderful sandwiches and the world’s best cheese scones!
