Many of you will have received a letter from me in the last few weeks in which I outlined the financial shortfall which David Anderson, our treasurer, was predicting for the end of the church’s year on 31 December.

We have been much encouraged by some of the conversations we have had since then, and want to thank all those who have already made a response—especially through increasing your giving through the Parish Giving Scheme, which will help so much as we go forward into 2024.

If you have not had a chance to do so, please can you consider this—perhaps in the days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve?

And if you would prefer to make a ‘one-off’ gift, that would be great too—but please bear in mind that the collections at all Christmas services are given entirely to our Winchester charities. So it might be simplest to use the ‘one-off giving’ option within PGS or ask David for the Church’s bank details by email: treasurer@itchenvalleychurches.org
