The Crib Service

We are very much looking forward to the Crib service at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve in St Mary’s, Easton. A lot of work has gone into making this service something very special for all of the family. It is also an opportunity to witness the arrival of the Posada which has been touring the parish and for those families who have taken part to bring along their sheep to be part of the story.

The crib service is a wonderful service for all the family with children taking part and lots of your favourite carols.  Everyone is very welcome—be sure to get there early to get a seat! Parking is quite limited, so please consider a car share of some kind – Church Lane will be closed and only accessible for residents and the disabled.

Midnight Communion 

A special opportunity to celebrate Communion together, starting at 11pm in St Swithun’s Church, Martyr Worthy.

Family Communion 

A family-friendly communion service at 10am at St John’s church, Itchen Abbas.

Please also remember that we have our usual Holy Communion at 8.30am at St Swithun’s, Martyr Worthy on Christmas Eve for those of you who wish to enjoy a peaceful start to Christmas.
