Please join me in praying for this coming weekend which is a ‘soft launch’ for Church Alive in ’25. Please pray:

• for Bishop David and the Ministry Team on Saturday afternoon—that we may be refreshed and encouraged for future service within the parish;
• for those who join us at our Welcome Tea in St John’s, Itchen Abbas on Sunday afternoon—that they experience the warmth of our welcome in Christ;
• and for all of us as we gather in St Mary’s, Easton on Sunday morning to consider the baptism of Jesus—that we may hear God’s Word and be renewed in our love for Him and one another.

Jesus said: “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18). Let’s look forward to seeing the ways He does this amongst us during the coming year!
