Services this Sunday

Sunday 19 October

10am Parish Communion – St Mary’s, Easton

Last Sunday’s Valley Worship

Last Sunday Valley Worship was held in Martyr Worthy, at which Nicky Barber spoke, basing her talk on 1 Peter 1: 3 & 22-25 and 1 Peter 2:1-3 (which were beautifully read by Fiona Coulter).   John Barber and Nick Fuggle led the service and worship, respectively, and James Greig concluded it with prayers building on the themes of Nicky’s talk.   Verity Greig led a typically lively session of The Ark in the Village Hall during the service, at which another edition of the Alpha videos for children was shown and colourful artwork was made.

Nicky’s talk can be read here.

Or listened to from the link below.

The funeral service for Philip Windsor-Aubrey will take place on Monday 20th October, 2.30pm at St Swithun’s Church, Martyr Worthy. Colourful clothing is welcome. Parking is in Texas Field at the top of Church Lane. Tea afterwards is in the Village Hall.
Donations, if desired, to Epilepsy Action can be made on the P.W-A page at  www.steelsfunerals.co.uk  or to Itchen Valley Parish at the service. Emily and the family would like to thank the parish for all their support.

UTX (our parish youth group) has returned following the summer break and is meeting twice monthly, for year 7 upwards.  Please contact Georgie Walker on 07967 838095 for more information.
