We were delighted to welcome Itchen Abbas Primary School to Cameo this week to sing their Harvest songs and chat to our older folk.

Remembrance Sunday
As in previous years we will be having Acts of Remembrance at all our Village War Memorials. These will take place at 10am in Easton, Itchen Abbas and Martyr Worthy. It will be at 10.40am at Avington and this will be followed by the Royal British Legion Remembrance Service at St Mary’s, Avington afterwards, parking will be available at Avington Park and will be signposted from the Church.
There will be coffee and a children’s activities at St John’s, after the Act of Remembrance – everyone is welcome.
There will be no communion service in the Valley on Remembrance but if you would like to attend holy communion nearby, these are the details for the Cathedral and for the Arle Valley.


UTX (our parish youth group) has returned following the summer break and is meeting twice monthly, for year 7 upwards. Please contact Georgie Walker on 07967 838095 for more information.
Beccy will be working from home the week commencing 27 October, telephone messages and emails will still be answered but maybe not quite so promptly.
