Our Posada has started its journey this morning with Rafferty and Primrose.  In its travel around the Parish it will stay with 21 families each of whom will say a prayer, light a candle and provide hospitality for these three nativity characters – giving a home to those who had no room at the inn.

The families involved are all part of our group of All Age Worship followers – sorry to those who could not take part this year because of our short Advent.  Now that we have started the journey each family will take the Posada onto the next family.  The order of the families was chosen by lot (pulling names out of a hat) and its hoped that this will enable people who don’t know each other yet to be introduced.

Lets hope that the nativity characters can get round this year without losing their heads….
