Today, acting quickly to adhere completely to the latest Government advice and after much consultation, the Committee of the Plant Sale have decided the following:-
1. There will now be no visitors to Chilland House
2. The kitchen garden at Chilland House will now be managed as a quarantined environment with a heavily restricted and controlled entry for a few of our growers
3. Plant purchases can only be made by residents within the 4 villages of the Itchen Valley parish.
4. All orders will be fulfilled with no social contact – your plants will be selected for you and delivered to your home.
5. If you would like to order some plants, you can buy in multiples of £10 (minimum order £20), stating your plant preferences
6. Orders should be sent to lmtovell@gmail.com also noting your phone number, address and suggested drop-off site.
7. All payments will need to be made electronically or, if absolutely necessary, by cheque – there will be no cash transactions. Payment instructions will be left with the plans on delivery.
8. You can order now and no new orders will be accepted after 1800hrs on Tuesday 24th
9. These are exceptional times and these new controls are important and will be followed precisely with no exceptions
