Harvest comes around to Itchen Abbas and Martyr Worthy!

Please join us for one of these two Harvest Celebrations—either at 10.00am in St John’s for our All-Age Worship service, or at 06.00pm in St Swithun’s for our Choral Evensong.

Our retiring collection at these services will be in aid of our chosen harvest charities and will be divided between these charities: Trinity Winchester, Winchester Beacon and Winchester Basics Bank. All produce donated will be passed on to Winchester Basics Bank.

Thank you again to all those who will have decorated our churches to look so beautiful at this special time of year.

For those, however, who prefer a more reflective service, we will gather in St John’s to celebrate Holy Communion at 08.30am, followed by some teaching—over coffee and croissants—on the Parable of the Labourers in the Vineyard (Matthew 20).

Let’s enjoy what looks set fair to be a lovely Harvest Weekend in the Valley!
