Services this Sunday
Sunday 25 May
10am Parish Communion – St John’s, Itchen Abbas
6pm Evensong – St Swithun’s, Martyr Worthy
This Sunday (25th May) Revd Peter’s last services in the parish will be held. He plans to take 10am Parish Communion at St John’s, Itchen Abbas and this will be followed by coffee and biscuits and a chance to chat with both Peter and Georgie. We will also have activities for any children during the service. In the evening, he will lead the 6pm Evensong at St Swithun’s, Martyr Worthy and this will be followed by wine and nibbles, again to allow members of the congregation to express their thanks to Peter and Georgie and to wish them well in the future.
We do hope you will be able to attend one of these services.
Revd Peter is inviting you to see this short clip, filmed in Galilee, which can give you a visual idea of the setting for Sunday’s Gospel passage (John 21:9-17).

Easton Flower Festival

Many thanks to everyone involved in the beautiful Easton Flower Festival – the organisers, the helpers, the garden owners and all the people who attended over the weekend. The Church and the open gardens were an amazing spectacle, enjoyed by many, after days and weeks of hard work. We look forward to sharing with you the amount raised towards the necessary building work for St Mary’s Church.
