The recommendations have been take up one notch on Friday.    The Bishop has given us permission to offer communion in ‘one kind only’.  This means only eating the wafer.

Given that we have a relatively vulnerable congregation (young in spirit), the Churchwardens and  I have agreed to offer communion in only kind (bread) at our churches until the current emergency is over.

This means that we only need one of the Eucharist assistants at our Parish Communions for the foreseeable future.
