Happy New Year!
You may recall that I asked if you would kindly give online to our Christmas Charities (please see the post below) as we were not able to raise money by collections this year for obvious reasons.
You responded magnificently! We have raised just under £6000 (after Gift Aid is taken into account) for our four Christmas charities: Winchester Basics Bank, Trinity, the Nightshelter and the Children’s Society and we will be dividing this sum equally between them. Thank you so much for such generosity in a time of great adversity for so many and particularly those in the charity sector.
Thank you also to Beccy Clark our Parish Administrator and Janet Denyer our Parish Bookkeeper who have both contributed to making this possible.
From now on donations on the red button will go to Itchen Valley Parish.
